birthday card for sally our dear daughter in law

made this birthday card for our dear daughter in law ... she loves wooden hearts and things ... so hope she likes it ... it is a bit of a retro card ( I think ) ... lol ... not sure what that means but it sounds good lol

love the paisley pattern used quite a bit of my scrap booking bits for this card toooooo

would love your comments please and thank you for looking

have published the insert too coz love the poem ...

sorry it has scanned a bit shadowy .. coz of the wooden heart

about me

I am happily married to a great guy whom I met in Malaysia whilst he was serving in the raf I am a mother to two boys and a grandmother to 4 wonderful grandchildren and two step grandchildren Chloe is the oldest at 20 Amy is next at 18 Grace is 16 and Oliver is 15 Unfortunately we do not see the two older girls as they have moved to Scotland following a bitter divorce BUT at last I have some good news to report … my eldest son Shaun has now met a lovely young lady called Kelly and they are getting married at the end of the year … she has two children the eldest is Caitlin and the youngest Daniel so we now have a wedding to look forward to. We are both retired ... myself having worked for 20 years in general practice. My husband and I decided to retire early and oh what bliss ~ my memories of working are distant memories thank goodness Love making cards and absolutely love card forums it is always my first place to visit when I actually manage to get online ... where does the time go and how ever did I get time to go to work I am also on facebook ... well you just have to don't you !! gotta keep up with the youngsters lol
