memories of my dear dad

I was lucky enough after sending some old photos of my dear Dad (no longer with us)  into the local news paper to have them printed with a lovely little story that my aunt (dad's sister) told me ..

hope you can manage to read the story ... oh and I made a little card to send into Chris ... well it would be rude not too !!!

this photo is of my dear Dad who had just had a new gun belt given to him ... feeling very important of course he is walking with his mum ... my grandmother in north end portsmouth
my Dad is the lad playing the acordian ... didn't know he could play ... he is wearing his boys brigade uniform

this is an assortment ...
the first one is my Dad on the far left with his brother and sister and his mother walking in Bognor on a family holiday ... and the last one is of my dear Dad whilst serving in the Royal Navy in Hong Kong ...

this was a total surprise to my dear Mum and she of course loved it
