wow a few little problems to start the week off ... just what we all like lol

my poor dear Mum had a fall at home on Monday and knocked her self out ... don't know why or how ... but we had to call 999 ... paramedics arrived and admitted her to hospital ... after spending 3 hours in hospital corridors waiting for tests and Doctors inspection she was admitted to the obs ward ...  she has had lots more tests all negative thank goodness ... but is now due to have an MRI scan tomorrow ... she cant stand or walk ... very shaky and dizzy ... I am hoping it is just her age ... she is 83 and does not usually fall about ... soooooo ... please keep your fingers crossed for her ... I think it is time for my sister and myself to be looking around for a safer place for her to live ... eg like mother in law who is in a warden controlled McCarthy & Stone ... think we may have a bit of a battle with Mum ... wish us luck please ...

oh and on to the cards ... Mums get well card and a little card for her dear friend Mavis who went to her aid ... Mum could actually remember her phone number when she "came round" after her black out ...

hope you are all having a better week ... thanks for stopping by xx

Sorry to hear about your Mum, make sure she has a social worker and care package sorted out before you let them discharge her from the hospital.

Love both your cards, but especially the first one. Beautiful oriental scene. Maddy x
