Good evening everybody its a bit blustery here this evening but the sun is shining ...
my card today has a very strange story behind it
My mother 82 and her sister 86 used to live in Copnor in Portsmouth and at the bottom of their garden was a tree ... it was called a fairy tree because it had a hole in the middle of the tree ...
anyway my dear Aunt now lives in NZ and has a very nasty progressive cancer which unfortunately will probably take her away real soon.
She actually came over to visit the UK in February this year and wanted to get to the "old house" to see if the tree was still there but never made it ... and unfortunately will probably not make it now either ... I do intend to go down tomorrow to see if the tree is still there and if so take a photo to enclose in the card

Oh Sandy what a beautiful card behind such a lovely story....even tho' it's so sad your aunt will be to poorly to see the tree herself...I'm sure she will just love this sweetie..
